| Crimdon Beach, looking North towards Blackhall and Horden. The beach is large and sandy and is a nesting spot for Little Terns who arrive in May from West Africa and fly back later in the Summer. The beach used to be a holiday destination for miners and their families from nearby mining communities. | ||
