Park on Marine Parade and descend by the steps past the cliff lift to the promenade by the pier. Alternatively, park at the main car park along the road between the pier and the Ship Inn (pay to park).
Walk along the sea front to the Ship Inn.
Just past the Ship Inn are steps that take you to the Cleveland Way footpath.
Alternatively, just past these steps ia track that heads uphill. Follow the track to Brough House Farm, where a footpath (on the left) takes you to the Cleveland Way footpath.
Turn tight and follow the footpath tot he Charm Bracelet sculpture.
Retrace your steps to follow the Cleveland Way footpath to the Ship Inn.
Continue along the sea front, crossing the Skelton Beck.
Cross the road and follow the footpath beside the Skelton Beck to the Italian Gardens. Continue Southwards on the Cleveland Way footpath.
Return to your start point along the Cleveland Way footpath, this time heading Northwards.
