| Also in Bow Street is the Fox Inn, outside which are some stone mounting steps. The original Fox Inn dates back to the 1820s, and was a coaching inn. These steps would have helped passengers mount the coach on the Guisborough - Whitby stage (the thought of a stage coach climbing the hills between the towns is mind-blowing!). | ||
