| Back in Seaham, another reminder that coal mining was one of the mainstays of the town (and area). There used to be three collieries in Seaham (Dawdon, Vane Tempest and Seaham). This is the Castlereagh Aged Miners Homes. Note the pit tub in the foreground (and a spot of rain on the lens, top left). | ||
