Steps down to Crimdon Beach. Quite near to where this path meets the beach is a colony of Little Terns, - a protected species. The birds fly from West Africa to Crimdon every year to nest and raise their young. The flowers, by the way, are Ragwort, - a rather unpleasant weed.
